Green-lipped mussel
The New Zealand green-lipped mussel (Perna canaliculus) provides natural nutrients and anabolic substances such as chondroitin, glucosamine, hyaluronic acid, omega-3 fatty acids, amino acids, minerals and vitamins. Some of these substances also occur naturally in the human musculoskeletal system, making the mussel the centrepiece of Pernaton products.
