Pernaton® food supplement

  • What is the difference between MOBILITY+ and RECOVERY+ capsules?

    MOBILITY+ capsules support mobility & flexibility with green-lipped mussel, glucosamine, chondroitin, turmeric, vitamins & minerals. RECOVERY+ supports regeneration with a customised combination of green-lipped mussel and micronutrients.

  • Are the capsules vegan or vegetarian?

    No. They contain marine ingredients and are not suitable for vegetarian or vegan diets.

  • Do I have to take the capsules with a meal?

    Yes, ideally with a meal with sufficient liquid.

  • How long should I expect to use the capsules before seeing results?

    The first results may be noticeable after a few weeks. Long-term use is recommended.

  • Are there any side effects?

    In rare cases, gastrointestinal complaints may occur. Caution is advised in cases of known shellfish allergies.

  • Can I take the capsules during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?

    Please consult your healthcare provider.

  • Do the capsules contain lactose, gluten or allergens?

    The capsules are lactose- and gluten-free. They contain seafood (mussels). Pernaton Mobility+ also contains shellfish (glucosamine).

  • For which age groups are the capsules suitable?

    For adults of all ages. For adolescents, please consult a specialist.

  • What is the shelf life of the capsules?

    The best-before date (BBD) is indicated on the packaging.

  • Are there any special instructions for storing the can after opening?

    Store in a dry place, protected from light and at room temperature (max. 25 °C).

  • Can the product be combined with other food supplements?

    As a rule, yes, but check with a specialist if you are unsure.

Pernaton® massage gels

  • What is the difference between the MOBILITY+ and RECOVERY+ massage gel?

    MOBILITY+ gel is a nourishing massage gel with a noticeable warming effect – ideal before physical activity. It stimulates blood circulation in the skin, relaxes the muscles and provides a revitalising feeling.

    RECOVERY+ gel has an immediately noticeable cooling effect – ideal after physical activity to relax stressed muscles and joint areas.

  • How do the massage gels work in the body?

    The gels support localised blood circulation through massage, promote muscle relaxation and help to relieve tension. The plant-based ingredients provide a pleasant warming or cooling effect.

  • Are the gels cooling or warming?

    MOBILITY+ gel has a warming effect, RECOVERY+ gel has a cooling effect.

  • Do the gels contain essential oils?

    Yes, both PERNATON® massage gels contain a selected combination of essential oils that contribute to the product’s effectiveness and enhance the sensory experience during application. The essential oils include, among others, rosemary oil, eucalyptus oil, orange oil, lemon oil, lavender oil and sage oil

  • How often can I use the gel?

    The gel can be applied several times a day as required. Apply a sufficient amount to the affected areas and massage in gently.

    Common applications include:

    • Joints: knees, hips, elbows, fingers, shoulders
    • Muscles: back, neck, calves, thighs
    • Tense body areas after physical exertion or prolonged periods of sitting

  • How long does it take to massage in the gel?

    The gel can be massaged into the skin for 1-2 minutes as required.

  • Is the gel suitable for sensitive skin?

    The gels are dermatologically tested  (‘very good’ rating from dermatest) and free from parabens, paraffin oil, silicone, PEG and microplastics. We recommend a tolerance test for very sensitive skin.

  • Can I use the gel during pregnancy?

    Please consult your healthcare provider.

  • Can I combine the gel with heat plasters or ointments?

    Please seek medical or specialist advice before using with other products. The gel should not be used under airtight compresses.

  • What to do if skin irritation occurs?

    In this case, please discontinue use and contact a healthcare professional if symptoms persist.

  • Is the product also suitable for children or teenagers?

    Not suitable for children under 3 years of age.

  • What is the shelf life of the product?

    After opening, the product can generally be used for 12 months.

  • Do I have to store the gel in the refrigerator?

    No. Store in a cool, dry place away from light – room temperature is sufficient.
